Shining3D have just launched the EinScan HX high resolution 3D laser scanner. The EinScan HX is a hybrid scanner with dual blue LED and blue lasers, so can scan all types of objects and surface finishes with ease and at great speed. Laser scanning is much less sensitive to ambient light, than with structured light scanners, so gives better performance with reflective and dark coloured surfaces.
