Einstar Vega 3D Scanner
Einstar have just released the Einstar Vega a new affordable all-in-one 3D scanner. This new scanner from Shining3D - Einstar Series - is giving all you need to scan your parts including the choice to not use a computer while your scanning job. The design of the Einstar Vega is made to be easy to transport with of 535g for the standard version and less than 20cm for the length of it.
All-In-One Design
The Einstar Vega is offering a complete solution in just one device.
Scanning Technology
This 3D Scanner Vega, is coming with two scanning technologies based on infrared scanning. You will able to switch your mode of scanning between infrared MEMS and VCSEL technology to be able to achieve your need during your scanning tasks. The scanner is also equipped with 48MP camera to upgrade your capture of colours during your scan, and bring life to your scan.
Light Source comparison
HD Mode: Infrared MEMS
This mode of scanning will allows you to capture high details with a working distance between 120 to 250 mm (approx.) with a resolution up to 0.05 mm.
Those infrared are useful in applications that require scanning from multiple angles or covering complex geometries, but they might have speed limitations due to their mechanical nature.
Fast Mode: Infrared VCSEL
Import from the FreeScan Combo this technology is a better fit if you need to scan outside in the sunshine or for lang range scanning project. The working distance on this mode is 350 to 1500 mm (approx.) for a resolution that can go up to 0.5 mm.
VCSEL 3D scanners are typically used as the light source for illumination and structured light projection. They provide high speed, precision, and efficiency, making them ideal for both consumer and industrial 3D scanning applications.
Powerful Hardware
A key aspect of the Einstar Vega 3D Scanner is the independence from a computer or cable connection for scanning parts. This handled 3D Scanners appears like a small tablets or a big phone with a powerful hardware which will make your experience easy and straight forward.
The 2K Amoled will allows to see the fine details of your scan while you are scanning without the need to use a powerful computer or laptop. The software include in the device is the same as on your laptop which is a user friendly and professional software for capturing data.
On a technical side the processor of 8-core running at 2.4 Ghz combine with the 32GB ram built-in in the Einstar Vega will make the software and the capturing smooth and not laggy. Combine with a SSD of 512GB your data captured will be store on your device quickly.
Software
The software that comes with the Einstar Vega called EXStar have two options we can either use it directly on the 3D scanner. Or you can use it on a Laptop/Computer. EXStar is available on Windows & Mac.
