Fusion3 Introduces New F410 3D Printer

Fusion3 has followed the F400 up with a brand new professional 3D printer, the F410, which improves upon the already impressive qualities of its predecessor while remaining at an affordable price.
“The new Fusion3 F410 delivers on our mission to provide customers with an affordable, high-performance alternative to expensive, industrial 3D printers that cost $20,000” said Chris Padgett, Fusion3 CEO. “The F410 prints large, quality parts at fast speeds and incorporates new technologies for even greater performance, flexibility for different print scenarios, and ease of use.”
Like the F400, the F410 maintains both speed and quality through the company’s F-Series platform, and keeps the original’s enclosed print area with a large build volume of 14″ x 14″ 12.4″. It allows customers to print with a wide range of materials, including PLA, ABS, ASA, carbon fiber filled, fiberglass filled, flexible, nylons, PET/PETG, polycarbonate, and more. Each month, customers are provided with updated configuration files to use with the bundled Simplify3D Creator slicer software so that certified materials print successfully out of the box.
The F410 is even quieter than its predecessor and offers an optional external air filter system which attaches to the printer’s exhaust and captures potentially harmful emissions. It’s a durable 3D printer designed to be used intensively 24/7, and comes with a two-year warranty.
In terms of new features, the F410 offers the option of three interchangeable tool heads 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm – each based on the E3D Volcano and incorporating hardened steel nozzles. Customers can use these tool heads to print engineering-grade materials at different speeds and quality settings optimized for the customer’s needs. The F410 also features a new 2.0 extruder and updated 32-bit controller, plus a new filament monitoring feature that allows users to resume a print job if they run out of filament or encounter a jam. A filament cleaning feature captures any dust or other contaminants on the surface of the filament before it enters the print system, reducing the risk of clogging. A new conductive, automatic bed leveling system ensures correct first layer height for every print.
The touchscreen interface has also been updated, providing user-friendly, intuitive controls as well as advanced features. An onboard network interface allows users to remotely manage their 3D printers through a secure, web-based interface. Finally, the F410 provides increased file security with a second secure storage device embedded in the 3D printer. Users can only access the onboard storage through the F410’s password-protected network interface.
