PolyCore™ ASA-3012 3Kg

Replik8

  • £49.00

The PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets by Polymaker are made of ASA reinforced with 20 % of glass fibre. These pellets were developed specially for BAAM (Big Area Additive Manufacturing).

The PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets are characterized by excellent printability, low warping, great colorability and strong mechanical properties. Thanks to the materials superior weather resistance and UV stability, parts 3D printed with the PolyCore ASA-3012 pellets can be used outdoors, for example in big-scale architecture (bridges, horticulture, landscape) or furniture.

What's more, this material will perform great in low-to-mid temperature tooling applications.

Other Comments

  • It is recommended to stop feeding and continue extruding until the extruder is fully empty if the printing stops in a short term (10-30 min).
  • It is recommended to stop feeding and continue extruding until the extruder is fully empty, then use polyethylene (PE) to clean the extruder if the printing stops for a long period (several hours). This helps to avoid carbonization of the material and keeps the extruder in good condition.
