The EinScan Trak combines wireless optical tracking with professional handheld 3D scanning to make digitising small, medium and large objects faster and more flexible.

Its marker-free tracking workflow removes the need to place reference markers directly onto the object in many scanning applications, reducing preparation time while giving the operator greater freedom to move around the part.

Whether you are capturing automotive components, industrial parts, sculptures or larger assemblies, EinScan Trak provides a flexible professional scanning platform for generating accurate digital 3D data.

One System, Two Work Modes

EinScan Trak gives users the flexibility to switch between Tracking Mode and Handheld Scanner Mode, depending on the object and scanning environment.

Tracking Mode

Use the wireless tracker to monitor the scanner's position in real time, enabling efficient marker-free scanning of medium and large objects.

Handheld Scanner Mode

Detach the scanner for a more traditional handheld workflow, ideal for smaller objects, restricted spaces and areas that are difficult to access using the tracking system.

The system supports switching between modes within the scanning workflow, allowing different scanning resolutions and data to be combined into a single project.

 

Wireless Freedom, Higher Efficiency

Designed for portability, the EinScan Trak features Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity, reducing cables around the scanning area and giving operators greater freedom to move around large components.

The tracking system supports a tracking volume of up to 15 m³, making it particularly useful for larger objects and applications where repositioning conventional scanning equipment can slow down the process.

A dedicated router is included with the system for reliable wireless communication between the scanner and tracker.

Marker-Free 3D Scanning

The EinScan Trak has been designed to significantly reduce the need for markers during professional 3D scanning.

The spherical scanner module incorporates retroreflective reference points which allow the tracker to monitor the scanner's position in real time without requiring markers to be placed across the object itself.

For feature-rich surfaces, the handheld scanning mode can also perform marker-free laser scanning.

This makes the EinScan Trak particularly useful when scanning:

Three Laser Scanning Modes

The EinScan Trak combines three laser configurations to adapt to different parts, features and levels of detail.

38 Crossed Laser Lines

19 + 19 crossed laser lines provide high-speed scanning for efficiently capturing larger objects and surfaces.

This mode is ideal when productivity and coverage are the priority.

7 Parallel Laser Lines

Seven parallel laser lines provide greater detail around features, edges and smaller geometry.

This mode is particularly useful for capturing detailed automotive and engineering components.

Single Laser Line

A dedicated single laser line is designed for capturing deep pockets, recessed areas and difficult-to-reach geometry.

Its 1:4 diameter-to-depth capability makes it particularly useful for applications such as vehicle and component reverse engineering.

Designed for Challenging Surfaces

EinScan Trak can capture a wide variety of materials and surface types, including dark and reflective objects such as automotive components and wheels.

The system is also designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, supporting scanning under strong ambient lighting conditions of up to 110,000 lux.

This gives engineers greater flexibility when objects cannot easily be moved into a dedicated scanning environment.

High-Definition Full-Colour Capture

3D scanning does not always have to be geometry-only.

EinScan Trak features a 5MP HD texture camera, allowing colour and material details to be captured alongside the object's geometry.
